HOW DO I USE i-NOTZ?

  • i-NOTZ operates through an internet connection, and so does not need to be installed on your computer.
  • The system is easily accessed by using a browser, such as Internet Explorer.
  • Individual screens appear in a logical, sequential order.
  • Each screen has a 'point and click' menu.
  • Physicians use the computer mouse to point and click on relevant clinical data menus to develop a complete medical record.
  • No typing or keyboard skills are necessary.
  • i-NOTZ assimilates patient data into full-text clinical notes.

The key ‘point and click’ menus follow conventional clinical procedure:

  1. History
  2. Examination
  3. Investigations
Investigation menus include options for laboratory tests, imaging results and histopathology results.
  4. Diagnosis
  5. Treatment plan
Treatment plan menus are available with therapy-response criteria, side-effect and drug interaction prompts. While all treatment plans are individualized by the ordering physician, therapy protocols are automatically suggested by Medinfomatics, for the clinician’s consideration:

    1. Chemotherapy Protocols
Technological assistance with dose calculation for chemotherapy is available, together with height, weight, BMI and body surface area parameters.

Medinfomatics offers the following chemotherapy options:
      • Standardized disease-specific protocols
      • Research protocols
      • Customized protocols

    2. Radiotherapy Protocols provide for:
      • External beam treatment
      • Brachytherapy
      • Unsealed sources
      • Customized radiotherapy protocols

    3. Surgical treatment plan menu
While all treatment plans are individualized by the ordering physician, therapy protocols are automatically suggested by i-NOTZ, for the clinician’s consideration.

  6. Additional Data
Additional, individualized clinical information can be entered by the physician, at any time. Also, switching the system to 'patient mode', presents a simple, non-technical menu for patients to enter their own general history data, if you wish.
  7. Billing
Automatically linked to your billing office, this system saves time, effort and resources in obtaining insurance company reimbursement.
  8. Treatment Outcomes and Prognosis

What happens next?
After the clinician enters patient information with a point and click menu system, i-NOTZ then assimilates the data into a complete, readable, full-text clinical note. The patient record reads as a conventional medical chart note. This patient record reads exactly like a conventional medical chart note.

Secure, accessible patient data is printable as:

  • history, test orders, test results, treatment plans, follow-up notes and outcome summaries.
  • professional, full-text clinical letters
  • clear, legible prescriptions
